About this tool
There is no national Inscrição Estadual algorithm — each of the 27 UFs (26 states + the Federal District) defines its own length, fixed prefix, weight set, modulus and check-digit rule. Because the number alone does not identify the state, you select the UF; the validator then applies that state's exact rule (following the Sintegra-derived reference cross-checked against public libraries). The exempt marker 'ISENTO' is treated as valid. Technical validation only.
